Mass Medical Imaging

I know Dr. Mass for over 15 years. She was always wonderful to me; took her time to explain everything; made sure my questions were answered. I always felt safe and cared for by her team. And now, different examinations like mammogram and ultrasound can be done in her office in Lake Forest which saves a lot of time. I am grateful I found such a great doctor.

Dr Karen Mass is The Best of the Best , in dealing with Womens Issues ! She takes her time with each & every patient & listens to any issues they may have ! Dr. Mass is One in A Million ! I would definitely recommend any woman seeking issues !

Highly experienced. Never rushed. Totally experienced. I enjoy the on-site services such as breast exams. and bone density testing. You’ll be comfortable and relaxed. Dr Mass staff are all professionals and will make you feel at home.

Dr Mass was wonderful. She is committed to her patients and their well being. My first visit with her was thorough. Dr. Mass spent almost 2 hours with me discussing my own personal health journey, with suggestions of how to best serve ME. I felt heard and validated.

From only one visit I can say Dr. Mass is very informative, polite, and genuinely cares for her patients. She was patient in answering all my questions.

Dr Mass’s staff is always so friendly and kind. Especially when you’re going in for a follow up on a mammo and ultrasound. Kinda scary but they make you feel so much better.

The ultrasound image quality was fantastic - what we had been hoping for! The appointment though was quite short. We also found out the gender of our baby and it was told to us very nonchalantly and abruptly which was too bad. We had been so excited and there was little excitement in the appointment. That said, as far as we could tell, the provider did her job correctly.

Dr. Mass is patient and takes time to explain what is going on often drawing a picture to aid in the communication process. She has set her practice up in a way that supports many patient needs all in one place.

I have been a patient of Dr.Karen Mass for many years. I love how she listens, explains things until she is sure you understand, is not an alarmist, and doesn’t rush you.She has now added a mammogram machine and bone density machine in her office so you don’t have to wait 6 months to get them done like in some hospitals!!!

I was there for a screening and have gone there for several years. It is easy to get an appointment. Staff was nice and results are received relatively quickly.

Dr Mass is very polite and the nurses are very helpful when making an appointment over the phone.

She did a very thorough history with me. Didn’t judge me for anything I’ve been through. Acknowledged what I was looking to get out of the appointment & is the first women’s health doctor to not traumatize me. Love Dr.Mass!!!

Dr. Mass is a great doctor and one of the few OB/gyn who caters to menopause. She is very thorough with her exams and pays attention to all details. She is very accommodating to her patients needs. I’ll recommend her to every woman.

I have had several mammograms before. My grandma and my aunt had breast cancer so I am high risk. I had weird results before and need biopsies. So it is always a concerning moment. This was my first time doing a mammogram with Dr Calandra staff. I have leaved in 3 different countries and gone through this process in all of them. I have to say, this was the best ever experience I had with a mammogram. The technician made me feel calm, I had no pain, no discomfort.. result was quick and clearly described. Really five starts! .

Dr. Mass is very professional she is very modern, knowledgable, and understanding her staff is always nice this practice also has very up to date equipment and is very clean.I would recommend this medical practice to anyone that is coming or lives in the Lake County area.

I was referred to Mass Medical for an ultrasound. The staff was extremely efficient and professional.

What a wonderful experience. This was an efficient operation. The tech was thorough, gentle and professional. The equipment was state of the art. I felt as though I were their only client for the day instead of being just one of many being processed. I would highly recommend getting your mammograms here.

Normally got my mammogram done at Northshore. Today was actually the best experience. Their imaging equipment seemed to be a bit more gentle and less painful.

My test results came back very quickly so I was able to speak to my Doctor in a timely manner. I was very pleased!
