I cannot stand this place. Ever since Christiana took it over completely downhill. They tell me my son sprained his wrist and it was a fracture and gave a wrist brace for the wrong hand. Had me sign something behind the desk while the doc was on a telehealth call and never even gave discharge instructions. Now I just get an automatic debit of $130 with no notice at all and got multiple stories including it is from a claim 7 months ago and just paid. I could barely understand the rep but how do you take $130 with no notice saying it’s for several visits that were just paid from insurance? Horrible customer service. Will never go to any Christiana urgent care again since they are usually wrong anyway
The staff were so warm, caring, knowledgeable and respectful. From knocking before coming into our room, to walking us as parents through each of the procedures, and approaching our son with Autism, ADHD, and ODD with direct responses, care, warmth, and patience. The doctors were open with sharing information, everyone took time to introduce themselves, and the level of commitment to the betterment of each child was just so refreshing. All staff care personally about their patients, and without the time, care, and insight from the Nurses and Doctors we would have never of known our son was Type 1 diabetic and struggling with keto acidosis. Eternally grateful for this A.I Team of caregivers, and am a huge advocate / cheerer of all parts A.I Dupont. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving my sons life and will always be in debt. Cant say enough, but wanted to make sure I at least end with saying THANK YOU
The techs were very welcoming and knowledgeable. The physicians assistant was very understanding and explained things so I could understandMy visit was quick and seamlessI was extremely satisfied with the service I received and would definitely go backI highly recommend this facility!
Took my son here for suspected swimmers ear infection. This is the first time we have been since the renovation. The lady at the front desk was very unhelpful, slow and rude, blaming her computer. Took us over 15 mins to get checked in. My son crying the whole time in pain even taking Advil prior. We watched other people show up and go to the other desk. They got checked in right away. We finally get into the room and it’s unsanitary. What looks like blood wrappers on the floor. Two people looked right at it and did not attempt to clean it or acknowledge it. My son ended up having middle and inner ear infections. After our experience and care received we won’t be back. I’ll drive my kids to AI instead.
Be careful! Made an appointment and stated the reason on their app. Get to the appointment & they can’t help me. Waste of time & money! All they had to do was the right thing and say “ You need to see your primary doctor”, before I got there.
I dont normally leave reviews but I felt like I needed to today. The front desk people were amazing. The X-ray tech, acted like I interrupted her entire day. Explained absolutely nothing. Just said oh yeah its not broke. Thats it. Not to keep off it, not how many days should I stay in the boot, nothing. Then when I asked for crutches ( because I didnt receive them from the place that sent me, even tho they wrote they did...you would of thought I was taking hers personally that she was using.I didnt want to be there just as much as you didnt want to be there, but difference is, you signed up for this profession. So rude and unprofessional.
The provider that checked me out was quick and responsive to my symptoms. The only complaint I could have is I didnt know my diagnosis was pneumonia vs just an infection URI.
Had an appt at 8am- the first appt of the day. Staff didnt start showing up until after 8. Dr did not spend much time with me and I felt like I had to pry information out of him. I am not confident about meds he prescribed. Will CK with pharmacy to be sure
The health care provider was amazing , as all staff encountered! When youre feeling not so great, experiences like this truly can make the difference.
I was told I would get antibiotics for my infection but then they decided to backpedal and give me cough drops. I mean for real? I just told you I sweat every night profusely and you said you will prescribe me antibiotics and then you say no? Just take cough drops for my fever and sweat every night? At one point they say if I have a fever I need to go to the ER. Excuse me!? I’m here and you won’t treat me and you pawn me off to the chop liver section? Christina Care is LOUSY!!!! IM NEVER GOING BACK to these clowns ever again!!!Update: I went to PA to an emergency walk in. They examined me and found fluid in my lungs- they gave me antibiotics and now I’m feeling better. I had to go to PA to get medical care!!NEVER GO TO CHRISTIANA CARE - Unless you want to DIE!
It was good. Waited about 15 min. Then was seen and diagnosed with pneumonia
You guys are awesome! Easy to book a time for a tele-visit, quick, prompt visit with the doctor. Explained the meds and what was going on. Very through! Thank you so much!
Absolutely terrible experience… Nau, Marsha A seemed to be in a rush; not thorough with examination.. I had to ask her results of tests that I took; she didn’t volunteer the information.. She also didn’t test for Covid even though I had the symptoms along with family history of high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes which are all underlying, severe conditions.. Nau, Marsha A; the healthcare provider also stopped writing down my symptoms as I was still letting her know the symptoms that I had.. She sat her pen and note pad down.Awful experience; felt unsafe and rushed.
We came in a few hours before our scheduled appointment. Im so glad they were able to see us earlier!
I arrived pretty early in the morning they was well informed when I talked to them they got me right in and work to get to the problem advise me on what I needed to do and I was very well satisfied nothing but good words for the staff there that Sunday morning
Awful stop there too try get some antibiotics I had broke two teeth and was in a lot of pain I checked in and just sat there no one ever help me just kept staring at me like I was a junkie I have good insurance and 7k in my pocket but no help after 45 minutes of silent treatment I left and went to patient first took straight back..
They were kind and able to get me in and taken care of in a timely manner
Very friendly, squeezed us in even though they had officially stopped allowing walk ins when we arrived, very kind and compassionate with my daughter who was scared to get stitches for the first time.
Both nurses were friendly and open to conversation. Dr. Bowyer was very comforting, very knowledgeable, she explained everything very clearly and Dr. Bowyer actually listened to every word I said, which rarely happens and it meant a lot to me. I trusted the instructions and the prescribed medication that she gave me 100%. Most of the physicians that Ive encountered do not listen to the patient. Theyre filling out forms, answering phones or just not concerned with what the patient has to say. I think its more about money than the Hippocratic Oath. Im 56 so I know that Dr. Bowyer is a rarity and Urgent Care in Elkton is lucky to have her.
I was just lucky maybe but online I had to accept a 1:00 appt but I tried to just walk in at 10:00. They saw me right away.
I’ve been here a few times with my kids. The staff is very nice but Doctors always get the diagnosis wrong. The last time we were there, my daughter complained about throat pain and had a fever. They did a strep test and said it was negative. A week later I get a call from them saying her test came back positive and they we’re going to call in an antibiotic! A Week later! It’s ridiculous. If their pediatrician isn’t available, I just take them straight to the emergency room because this place is a waste of time and money.
Went last night and was diagnosed with the flu. Meds were sent to the pharmacy quick and the staff was by far the nicest people. So caring and made sure I was ok as I almost passed out in their waiting area. I will be forever returning here bc of their amazing staff. Thank you for taking such great care of me. From a nurse herself, your care and compassion does not go unnoticed.
The staff was excellent.... friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. The facility was very clean and nicely furnished.
This facility is severely understaffed. I walked in and there was about 3 people ahead of me. I sat for an hour and not one person was seen or even vitals taken. If I did not get up and leave I would still be sitting there. Christianacare should be ashamed of itself. Staff your facilities!
If your child’s pediatrician isn’t available, just go to the ER. i’ve always hated this place but my son had a high fever and needed to be seen, they always act like they don’t care and say everything is viral… one of the staff barely took his temp, told me there was no fever (which is why we were there) i literally had to ask her to retake his temp and it was 101.4… they tested him for flu A&B and told me i would get a call with results, but because covid and strep came back negative they could only send over tylenol (bc i asked for it) fine whatever.Thank god his pediatrician was l the next day, retested him for everything and they were able to tell me he tested positive for Flu A in a very quick manner. There’s been many times in the past where testing wasn’t thoroughly done and ended up extremely sick from going without needed medication.
I inquired about bringing my son here for a sports physical. He is developmentally disabled. The response I got on the phone was, we dont do these for disabled people. I reiterated that hes not physically disabled, but the answer I got was the same. Avoid places like this. These people have no compassion.
I went in for a sick visit my care was great from the MA to the PA. At the front desk they asked for my debit card which I thought was being used to collect my $35 copay it wasn’t. Instead I got notification in my email that I agreed to allow up to $250 to be taken off my card. Today I get an email stating $35 would come off my card on Monday. Luckily Maria in billing helped with this issue. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS WITHOUT TELLING PEOPLE THIS IS BAD PRACTICE AND NOT NEEDED FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO DEDUCTIBLE AND DONT HAVE ANY TEST OR SWABS DONE DURING THEIR VISIT
I am impressed and very happy with the care and service here at GoHealth Urgent Care. They do get busy and might have to wait but they don’t rush the patient’s visit and I like that!!
I won’t be back here took my son on a Sunday he was running a low grade fever and nasal congestion and ear pain . the doctor looked at his ears 3 times didn’t say anything. She said he has a cold. Later that night my son ears hurt worse took him to his pcp next day well he had a ear infection! If I had listen to this place my son still would sick next time I will wait for his pcp to be opened .
Doctor was very pleasant and listened to everything I had to say.
100% improvement from the previous urgent care that occupied this space. From setting the appointment and scanning my insurance cards to the actual appt itself was beyond my expectations. Diagnostic Test results were in earlier than expected. Top notch. Will refer to everyone I know. Courteous and respectful from start to finish.
Long waiting. At first, Ive been told I have to wait about 1 hour which was ok. But 1 hour and half had passed, there were 2 people came in after me, but they been called before me. Total 2 hours later, I had been called. The nurse was not showing any professional attitude. The way she talked was very impatient. After she done my blood pressure test, she rush taking that blood pressure test wrap off me ,and just threw it on the rack.
Courtney and staff including the Dr. paid attention to my concerns. Thank you
Dont think Urgent Care think PCP; cause the PCP in the area you cant make appts w/for months, so they tell you to go to Urgent Care but they still have to make appts and that takes a few days too... I thought Urgent Care was supposed to allow hospitals to not be so busy??? If I have a cold TODAY, I want to be seen TODAY, not in a week.
Never had an issue anytime that Ive had to go here for myself or kids. The front desk staff is always friendly, doctors are great, and I am always in and out. I receive a follow up call each time as well to ensure everything went okay.
Amazing, friendly, professional Staff. From the moment you walk in the door you are welcomed and put at ease. The Nurse/XRay Tech was quick and efficient. I waited less than five minutes to be seen by the Nurse Practitioner. He was knowledgeable and again made me feel at ease. He was attentive, professional and had a good sense of humor. I really enjoyed my visit.
Always pleased with the service I receive here. Not usually a wait and the service is quick and efficient.
Due to Pennsylvania’s changing requirements for COVID-29, I had to get a rapid test within 72 hours of picking my son up at the Airport. Went to Express Care in Elkton, MD and they added me to the system for an appointment that day. Called me earlier than my appointment time and was able to get the Rapid test done. The entire staff was courteous and understanding. Very professional and I had a great experience.
The staff was nice but theres a sign on the window that says, Just Walk In. It should say: Just Walk In and wait for 5 hours! Unless you have an appointment you will not be seen in a timely manner at all, and the appointments are always booked out at least 24 hours in advance. The wait here is just as bad as the emergency room or worse!!
Wrong address, and wrong location if you need some prescription. I’m asked prescription for Chantex, but they said me: Sorry- NO. I just drive to Newark Urgent Care center and get it in 30min. Guys if you are really doctors, care your patients!
Staff very helpful but...Went there on a Tuesday for antibiotics for diverticulitis like I have done in the past. They said they could not give the same ones anymore and gave me something less powerful. Went back on Sunday( another $75) because there was little improvement and they sent me to the ER. Went to the ER(another $200) and they gave me the antibiotics that I have used for years for this. Felt fine the next day. Three or four days of unnecessary pain. Will probably still come here for other ailments but will have to find an alternative for diverticulitis flare ups.
Sprained my wrist at work & came here to get an x-ray. I signed in around 1pm to be put on the waiting list and there was 26 people in front of me. Currently 6pm & they still have three other people waiting in front of me. Seems like there is no staff working & the lady at the front desk is kinda rude ... I understand it’s a busy day but an attitude is not necessary. Judging from the other reviews it seems that the wait & rudeness is pretty common here. I do not recommend.
I reserved a spot online today for me and my 2 kiddos who have had a cold for 3 weeks straight.. they had already been seen for the cold before but it was not going away and this seemed like the easiest place to have an adult and 2 kids seen in one shot as we are all feeling super yucky.. the front desk staff was very helpful and nice! Also the nurse who took our vitals was very sweet with my kids and very nice and attentive overall.. we ended our visit seeing PA Jennifer Brown, I loved her! She knew exactly how to deal with little kiddos and I have never seen my kids so relaxed around a doctor before! She was very sweet.. there was also a mixup when I went to get my prescription, somewhere I either wasn’t given or I lost one of my scripts and they handled it very professionally and were very polite! 30 min later my pharmacy called me to let me know my script was ready and waiting for me to pickup as the express care had called it in personally for me! 5 stars all the way! Thank you guys for awesome service!
Took care of an infection with antibiotics and follow-up visit and phone calls. Thanks for the help.
My 18 year old son and I had to get tested because his girlfriend tested positive. I had no idea what to do at first and panicked. I was directed by multiple sources to go to express care. I immediately got frustrated by scheduling appointments on their website. Heres the thing....dont give up. We went into the facility and signed in on the walk in patient iPad. It was quite a wait. The very professional and courteous women that you first encounter and take all of your information called us 4 hours later to tell us it was time to come back in. I cant stress how nice they were when they are most definitely exhausted. Then my son and I were able to go back together and get tested at the same time. The demeanor of the technician who swabbed our noses was remarkably kind and pleasant. My son and I discussed her on the way home and his comment was not many people are like that anymore. Great job staff at express care in Elkton.
Wish I could give zero stars. My daughter had an appointment on Sunday only to arrive with a closure sign on the door. She called back Monday and they rescheduled her for Wednesday morning. Come Wednesday morning, she drove all the way there for them to say they had nothing on their calendar and she could not be seen . . . but could set her up with an appointment on Friday. Are you kidding me? Why so she could show up for a third time with a lame excuse. They could care less about their mistake, stated there was no Manger to talk to, and said they had no way of knowing who worked on Monday. Bad business practice all around!
I have bronchitis and they were so nice, service was fast today sometimes it’s slow if you try to make an appointment in the morning and it says they have openings at 5pm-7pm it may be a long wait seems to take longer latter in the day like an hour wait time usually. But all the nurses are so nice and helpful.
Went for a covid 19 test. Sat in my car for over 8 hours before being seen. Went back to get results, front desk said Ill print that in a minute. 30 mins later she passed my paper off to someone else said look his results up. And the it took another 20 mins before she even printed my test out. Very horrible service. Express.. more like slug service. Not again. Only good thing was place was very clean. Front desk is horrible. Like they dont know how to do their jobs.
The nurse practitioner on Duty was wonderful. He took the time to thoroughly listen and examine my issues before coming out with a care plan that has been working for me The whole staff had me in and out within 45 minutes. Great experience with no appointment
As I’m sitting and waiting in the urgent care lobby because I lost vision in one of my eyes, a women walks in and says she is having stomach pain. She then says that she received a COVID-19. vaccine two days prior and thinks she is having symptoms from that. I have already been waiting in the waiting room for approximately 25-30 minutes before she walked in and was told to check in and have a seat. This women was taken back immediately even though I had not even been checked in. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, I was called to check in and was told my insurance was not accepted. The representative Christina, advised that they wouldn’t have known since they had yet to call me but if they had checked me in sooner, I would’ve been advised of this. Wasted time.
Still waiting... had an appointment for 7:15 pm its now 8pm. This is 2nd appointment in 2 days for an ear infection. Prescription was not found at pharmacy the 1st vist we had to call them to send it in. Arrived today and they still had wrong pharmacy. Im not real confident about todays visit. If you can be ontime and cant send a Prescription..how can you diagnose a patient
Doctors did not listen to my symptoms and told me it was viral . NOT I went to the ER and was put on an antibiotic after a week of pain.. 4 years ago I went to this office and they could not diagnose a STROKE!! Will never go back to an urgent care. Not very good DOCTORS.
Our provider was Amber. This is the second time she has seen one of my children. She is absolutely amazing! I wish you could clone her and have an office full of her! She always takes the time to explain things in such a way that both child and parent/adult understand what is going on with your body/illness/injury…What caused the issue, how to treat it etc and in such a way that I could literally visualize what was going on in my daughters body/system at the moment. She never makes your question seem unimportant or a bother. Some providers make it obvious they are busy and make you feel like they can’t get out of your room fast enough. Amber takes her time and never makes you feel rushed even though the office was busy both times we saw her. My daughter was in a lot of pain and Amber and the nurse/CNA were extremely gentle and patient. I expressed our appreciation to Amber and the staff out front but I really hope she and her staff get the credit deserved. HCW are dealing with a lot of extra work and stress right now and Im sure they always hear if someone isnt happy so I want to make sure they also hear the good. The entire staff from the front desk , to the nurse or CNA who took us to a room and did the vitals were wonderful but Amber went above and beyond. 100/10 😊
Made an appointment for a rapid covid test for fiance. Not only do they have all patients enter the facility, the appointment was at 540, test not administered until 615, and now 645 and still no answer to result of test while fiance is sitting in room. Also having patients in there no mask coughing and not making them cover. Terrible.
The office was clean and the staff we’re very efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Shoving a stick up each nostril of your nose is never fun but, at least they provided a very accurate test in a short period of time. I will recommend people to visit their office. I really appreciate their help. Stay safe.Thank you
The workers always have a pleasant demeanor! The facility is always clean! The staff really seems to care about your problem! The part that I didnt like was the testing that I needed was not available and the Doctor was not able to refer me for it! I was told to contact my primary for the referral or go to the ER!
Nurse Practitioner, very good bedside manner. Fast service
The staff was polite and I was in. And out in less than 30 minutes.
Very fast visit which I am gratefull. I was not feeling well and Dr. Danielle was sharp. The meds are working and I would definitely recommend this urgent care. Also it has been Renovated and is extremely clean.
Made a appointment 1:11 PM, it got pushed back till 1:45, arrived early, sat inside to do paperwork, then had to sit out in car. Lady and son in spot next to us been sitting 3 hours +. It’s 2:55 PM still have not seen doctor, when we arrived supposed to be two ahead of us. Lobby is empty, 4 cars sitting in parking lot including us. Is there staff???? What was point of having a appointment????? This is all for daughters soccer physical. Not cleanest place!
Once our appointment was scheduled, even though there was a long wait, I found the service to be beyond what I expected. They came to our car to get the registration papers signed. We could have gone home while waiting for our appointment. They call you. It was extremely busy. They test for Covid. Rapid COVID. From the receptionist to the Doctor, I found compassion and professionalism.
BEWARE I went for a Covid test eight months later i was sent a bill for $ 517.00. I was told I was given a flu test and a strep throat test that I never agreed to. I tried to give them my insurance information they told me just wanted their money. they turned me in to a collection agency. So even if you are dying go somewhere else. I will be spending all my free time letting everybody know how good of a job they did for me.
Welcoming even for being an hour prior to closing, fast and efficient service.
I went in today to be seen. I checked online. Arrived early. When the receptionist asked for my ID and insurance card she asked me to sign the waivers. She said they were treatment waivers, payment waiver and HIPAA waiver. I signed. The. She told me she needed a credit card to be put on file. I declined. I explained my reasons. I also explained that I do not have a balance nor have I carried one. She said because I have a deductible I was now required to leave one on file. I asked since when? Another receptionist came over and said that I just signed the waiver and therefore I had to give a card. If not, then I would not be seen. I argued that I should have been informed of the policy change prior to signing but I still would not leave a card. So she said leave it or leave. So I left. I will no longer use your Express Care. I hope people leave in droves.
I was truthfully uncertain this was an “Urgent Care” location considering none of the workers were working in urgency. They were all outside for one worker either we’re talking about patients or on their phones not once did they bother to acknowledge the new patients that walked through the door to reassure that they would be seen I also came at 8:25 and no one talked to me till 9:00 and there were only 3 other patients besides me.
Long wait time I was there for 3 hours. The room I was taken back into wasnt clean. However, the care from the staff was excellent everyone was very kind and caring. Especially the Doctor Jason I cannot remember his official name.
Doctor took 2 seconds to look at me misdiagnose and rush me out in 3 minutes. Even after me trying to tell her I get these infections quite often and always need topical and oral antibiotics. She only said I needed topical and there would be no point in others. Ended up having to go to the ER to get IV and oral antibiotics. Don’t come here, you won’t be treated correctly and have to go somewhere else anyway.
My experience was Excellent. The front desk crew made You feel like family, the nurse made the whole experience Pleasant and the Dr explained everything wonderfully and to where i could understand. I would recommend You company to everyone without hesitation
Staff is friendly and caring, l found it to be a positive experience each time l have went there, and my 14yr old daughter agrees to the point that we actually prefer to go there over our family doctor. mainly because you need a doctor and just go then and there, lm not one of those people looking to find fault, like some errant dust or a spider, good people and service suits me.
Each time Ive been there, staff is courteous, professional! Dr are like wise! Very pleased when I leave! Only problem I have is front desk person calling me by my first name! Being part of military family, staff always refer to you as ms Webb!
Very happy with our experience there. We waited less than 10 minutes at about 7pm (after our pediatrician was closed). It saved us a trip to the ER at Christiana Hospital. My daughter had handmaids elbow (basically a common dislocated elbow), which is very painful. Everyone we dealt with there was compassionate, and after a few tries, the elbow was back in place and fixed. They even called the next day to check up on her. It was not a fun experience, as it is extremely painful, but this saved us from sitting in an ER waiting room 30 minutes away.
Had a bad week and ended up at 2 Express Care in the area. Office here and NE were clean and well run. The NP Shauna and Allison were great, along with super support staff at both locations. Caring and kind.
I hate this place. The nurses dont know anything and they have all those policies in place which means they dont care one bit about their patients. They were suppose to send us home with a CD of the xray, the nurse forgot to give it to us. With the lousy service we received, we left without thinking about. Now he needs to follow up with a real dr, they want the CD. They are unwilling to burn it and have it ready for me to pick up because what if I dont pick it up! I have yet to have a good experience with them, only reason I go is because its a 2 min drive vs the better urgent care that is 15 min away and always packed. I know better, never again!
Quick to see a Doctor. Friendly staff. Clean office.
This place was completely empty when I arrived so I thought wow this is great, no wait.” Well l now I know why it was empty. Its the most incompetent medical care Ive ever experienced. There was no doctor onsite. Just assistants. I said I was sick and gave some suggestions to what it could be based on my symptoms. An assistant examined me very quickly and took a culture to check for one specific illness. I asked the “assistant“ some medical questions to try to figure out what my symptoms could mean. She brushed me off and said we’ll find out once we have results. I waited days for a call back. No call so I initiated several attempts to get an answer. No record was made of my attempts so each time they’d give me the same run around that a nurse would call me back. I finally got a call back after I said I’d go talk to them in person. Long story short- my results for the culture came back negative. I said “ok so that wasn’t the only thing I was examined for I hope.” It was!! I tried to get antibiotics sent to my pharmacy and they said “well since you were only checked for the one thing you’d have to come back in to be examined again.” No words for this incompetency!!!!
Fast friendly care Not a long wait to be treated
Awful! Everyone is supposed to wait outside and they had the lobby full of people. I needed to get a covid test to get surgery done. I handed them the paperwork from my surgeon, they said they didnt need it and proceeded to do the wrong covid test on me. Here I am now, the day before my surgery rushing around the get the correct test and hoping the results will be back in time😡
Dr. Colleen is probably one of the worse doctors I’ve ever met. She should find a new job especially in the attitude department. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN! I don’t EVER write reviews especially bad ones but her tone over the phone was unacceptable.
Providers were uncaring and unprofessional when my wife was treated for what turned out to be a broken humerus. Actually took three of their staff to incorrectly put the arm in a sling. When we finally left and went to local ER, my wife stood up and when she said she felt woozy and unsteady, the staff simply walked away. Unbelievable!
9/2021: 👎👎👎👎👎 Now that the location is owned by Christiana the quality is terrible. Aweful from start to finish.• Front desk almost gave my appt to another person. Arrived within minutes of my appt.• Front desk agent Donna Lowrey took 20 minutes to get me signed in. The other agent got 5 other patients signed in during the same time.• Front desk agent Donna Lowrey told me my card declined which I knew was incorrect. I called my credit card company and they advised it was declined for incorrect entry at the desk - so the front desk agent entered it wrong.• Went in for a Free COVID rapid test. Was informed there is a co-pay and that the test result takes 3-5 days. They advised they do not offer rapid tests due to cost. It seems they are not following Federal Law here.• The location is dirty and not maintained. Trash all over the parking lot and the floors are not mopped.2020: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Consistently good service and friendly staff! 5/5 (when this was NOT owner by Christiana).2019: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great service! (when this was not owed by Christiana).
This place should have never changed!! I show up with my 2 children whom are not feeling well its an hour before they close, I mean this is called URGENT CARE for a reason correct !?! And were denied service bc of the time being told there 4 people theyre waiting to show up so I say well can we wait and if someone doesnt show we can be seen it that time slot?... the receptionist preceeded to battle about it saying no the time would then be gone so she finally says she can ask but itll be no so as shes walking away I say I APPRECIATE IT and she flips her hair around and says ITS NOT MY RULES MAAM! I said wow I said I appreciate it.... she comes back and says no the time slot would be gone... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE. AND BY THE REVIEWS ALREADY ON HERE I SHOULDA KNOWN BETTER... This should just be called Christiana Care not urgent bc theres nothing ever urgent with christiana.
This express care is Amazingly helpful wouldnt want to goto hospital unless absolutely necessary need to. Urgent care makes it easier they have always taken Good Care of me and my Son. I Praise God For Them and the Locstion..Dont Stop Dtaff Great Job..
I was there on Friday with my wife for an PCR test and we get told the results will take 3 to 5 days. We will go to Canada together. We are now close to the border to Canada but we can not cross the border because my wife don’t get the results. I got my results on Monday. If’s i look on the webpage It shows me we should get the results in 2 to 3 days. So I’m afraid my results will expire before my wife gets here results. When we call for info we get all kind of excuses like this take 3 to 5 businesses days or there can nothing do, there have not even a phone number to call the lab to ask what going on. We are very disappointed it looks like we to cancel our vacation
These is the worst place I have ever been for healthcare. My husband needed a simple covid test. We were there at 10am and in line for over 1hr, just to register. After registration, we sat in the car and waited for over 5hrs just to get a covid nose swabs test. We regretted going there and its the last time we will go there ever.
Didnt have a very long wait at all. Nurse practitioner was very sweet made my daughter feel more comfortable about illness. Will definitely use them again.
Good experience friendly personnel quick in and out.
I will never return to this urgent care. I usually use the union hospital urgent care however they closed at 8 and I needed my son to be seen. The PA at this location was unprofessional and incompetent. Thank God i have a medical background I feel bad for the people that go there and dont know any better. Such a shame this urgent care used to be very good.
My visit with Express Care in Elkton, MD for Covid 19 testing was met with pleasant staff and professionals, clean and safe environment, and minimal wait times for the procedure. I was more than satisfied.
Not worth anything outside a doctors note for work. Multiple issues non addressed outside my sinus issue which I was advised to use Flonase, i am already using an alternative for the past month which i communicated to the doctor. Very much a waste of time. Goto a real doctor if you are sick.
Whomever was on the main desk on Jan 4th at 3PM, please check in with them. They were incredibly rude over a covid testing related question. I understand hes had to answer my question multiple times to other callers, but that was no good reason for him to get snarkly with me. Online its stated to reserve online for a Covid test which I had. I just wanted to call to verify that was okay. His tone immediately changed with me the moment I said Covid. Im sure hes over it, but he should watch his annoyance with his patients. I havent had any problems with the location before, but that was just the worst. The point Im trying to make is that no matter how annoying a question is, still respect the person.
Please dont go here. They have horrible service. The lady at the front desk is rude, impolite, and disrespectful. There is no point in signing up online because they will still make you wait.To add to the horrible service- they gave me an empty disk of my x ray. So when I went to see an orthopedic I had to get my X-ray redone. Complete waste of time!! Please dont go here. You are better off going anywhere else or even staying home with a broken arm.
Terribly organized, took me three full hours to get a Covid test, which is done at a drive-through place in ten minutes. Insisted on taking my credit card even when I didnt have a copay. Avoid at all costs.
Been here twice now. They were friendly, clean, and patient. I have two younger boys that love the kids room with chalk and safari wallpaper! They make going to the doctors a breeze for me!
I wish I could give minus stars! Hubby had an appointment at 315 and did not have his meds by closing of Walmart pharmacy! We called and called Urgent care and Walmart. So I called urgent care one last time and all she could say was he would have to wait until tomorrow!! THAT IS SO NOT RIGHT!!! NO ONE GO HERE, YOU ARE IN AND OUT AND NO DECENT CARE AT ALL!!!!!
This place is so dirty it’s hard to believe it’s a urgent care center, I took my daughter here for a sinus infection, I would have normally taken her to our doctor but just got back from vacation and it was after normal business hours, the place is so dirty, there was not one other persons there and it still took them 30 minutes to call us back and another 30 minutes to do the vitals, finally when the doctor came in after questioning symptoms, she proceeded to tell my daughter that people just don’t get sinus infections , she should eat Rita’s ice and clear liquids , when I asked her if she was going to give her an antibiotic, she said they don’t like to give antibiotics and she should see a doctor ... ummm HELLO are you not a doctor ? Why are we here then and why did I just give you a co pay of $50.00 when my co pay at my regular physician office (who is closed right now that’s why I’m here ) only is $10.00 on my insurance . I absolutely will never go here again what a bunch of quacks!!!!
This place is a Joke, dont waste your time or copay if you have insurance. The same goes with their northeast MD urgent care as well, big joke. They dont stick to their appointments times if you make one, the doctors are pretty clueless and you can do better yourself just with online information. I had X-rays on my knees done in the Elkton one, 3 days later still no results and havent been read my insurance company shouldnt have to pay for this and my co-pay should of been wavied for this joke feast at this place. I have a follow up with bone specialist and need Cd copy of X-rays and this Urgent care tells me On went dont provide a CD copy after they told me I could get one, and now they say they have no way of getting any type of copys...., what a sham!!!. These types of practices should be held to the highest or shut down and taking out of business.
Just left this place.. trash!!!! Avoid going here!!! My daughter was having an allergic reaction.. stopped in quickly to get help and first the woman tells me I don’t have insurance. When I prove I have insurance.. she tells me I only have dental and vision. I again.. prove to her and proceed to call insurance company. She mysteriously finds the medical. Fine.. she then proceeds to tell me that the copay is $65.. but my insurance copay is only $35... when asked why.. she says “it’s a standard fee we collect for service in case insurance doesn’t pay”. I ask her if this only applies to certain people.. maybe those of color perhaps.. seems if I have verifiable insurance.. and you confirm my co pay is $35.. to charge more just in case is shady as heck! Watch out for this place.. the white lady and male didn’t have to pay this cost.. appears only blacks get charged the just in case fee. Ps.. im a VP with full coverage and can surely pay the $65. The way she went about it was suspect. Avoid this place at all cost.. mind u.. my 5 year old is having an allergic reaction.
I felt like I was drilled on my symptoms and why I thought what I had. How I don’t need antibiotics that they are given just to make people happy. So after the right act she prescribed the antibiotics to me anyway. I have been to express care several times but never drilled like that. I have her name. If I go there again I will make sure I do not see her!!!
Everyone was very professional and treated me very well.
My mother was seen here after being involved in a car accident. She was in extreme pain (from whiplash). The male doctor she seen was absolutely amazing and treated her extremely fast and was very professional. Great job !
Had a terrible experience here- took my daughter here after she injured her leg and she would not stand on it - she told the doctor she hurt her knee - he did a minimal exam and said it was just an ankle sprain. I thought it was something more and asked if he could x-Ray it to see if theres something going on beyond what he could feel. He basically said that this is his job and he would know if something was broken - so he diagnosed her w ankle sprain. He never even looked visually at the knee/rolled up the pants to look at it- it was very swollen. Took her to the ER the next day and the c-rayed her knee and it showed a fracture right below the knee - nothing wrong with the ankle at all! Please do not take your child here if its an orthopedic issue- you can tell these people dont know their stuff. The doctor in the ER was so much better and she believed me that there was something wrong, took it seriously and did a much better exam than what this doctor did.
Hands down the best absolute service i have ever been to in my life! Confidential & very professional. Very professional! It sux that i had to drive 30mins out of Del to get there. However every min of that drive was worth it! I cant say enough about this place! Nah i dont work there. This aint a fake review. Im literally inside writing this right now! Facts!
Great staff, not a long wait since I used my mobile app to schedule an appointment and check in.. Doc was figured out the issue my primary doc missed .. sent scripts to CVS fast and even called leaving message to next day to make sure all is well!
Top experience all around! The facility was clean and pristine, everything moved super fast so I didnt have the feeling of waiting in a glorified ER triage area, the doctor came quickly was informative and courteous. Will definitely recommend it to others.
Pointless to have an x-ray technician if you need to see a specialist because the north east location has no way to put them on a disc. Elkton location doesnt have an x-ray technician and has a way to download it on a disk doesnt make any sense to me
I will NEVER visit this place again!! I sat in the waiting room for a half hour after I checked my son in as the patient, & they refused to see him because I didnt bring my ID with me. I wouldnt be so mad if this wasnt a LIFE THREATENING thing my son was there for asthma!! Very disappointed & scared at the same time.
Staff alway kind and friendly, they really get you in and out but still take the appropriate time answering any questions you might have. They are the best urgent care I been to.
Please do not take any one you are about to the express care in elkton maryland. I just left there with my 70 year old mother and they were utterly untrained and inefficient. Her hips are bothering her and she has a fever and pain running down her leg. They never even looked at or touched the area that is in pain. Or looked at her medical history. The Dr made the comment that he would give her muscle relaxers. But that she was already on them because she take .25mg of xanax every night before she goes to bed. Most people know that xanax is a anti anxiety and anti convulsant drug. Not a muscle relaxer. They have no idea what they are doing. Do not put the health of your loved ones In The hands of these incompetent people.
An appointment at urgent care??!!!! What the heck? No need for the e.r. thats overkill and a waste of hospital recourses! If I wanted to wait for my doctor to give me an appointment Id do that! Urgent care = ABIG JOKE
Time efficient get right to the point you’re in there no longer than 15 minutes. The staff is very nice. Hopefully you get well ! I got well thank you Express care.
Dont bother making an appointment. Got there 10 minutes early like they said. Told us to sign in we had a 2 hour wait even though we had an appointment. Why bother having appointments then? We left. Will not be back.
I was a walk in so it was a while before I got taken in but once I was in the process went fairly fast, everyone was very kind and respectful through the whole thing and helped me understand what would happen. Overall it was a great experience.
One of the worst experiences ever....place is renovated and clean but the PA that saw me was so amped up on coffee it was overwhelming and she would not prescribe an antibiotic because she said they are limited and overprescribed....it was so bizarre.......is there a shortage or something?....left there sick and angry....Healthcare is so broken....wish I would have asked her name....today I see my PCP they do all cultures which the PA yesterday ( Danielle DiNorscia, PAC) failed to do and also refused antibiotics and I tested positive for Strep.....total fail....and dont try and write some apology response....I am contacting all involved to retrieve my copay and my insurance to refuse payment....doest get anymore negligent.....
If you have to make a reservation to be seen then urgent care isnt all that urgent and you shouldnt waste your time. ER is faster with no reservation. This place is a joke.
I had a video visit that was managed very efficiently from registration to completion of visit. Staff was friendly and polite. Provider Holly Smith answered all my questions and offered suggestions that really helped me to feel better. I am very grateful.
A diverse medical staff unit that is very welcoming and friendly. The doctors listen to their patients with care and I did not have a long time. My first go to😊
It was great and quick before its manage by Christiana care. Now its not urgent care. Need to have an appointment and you will get it 12 hours later once you call for it.
I CAME HERE FOR THE CONVENIENCE, I CAME HERE FOR THE NAME AND CARE. I LEFT WITH ANGER AND FRUSTRATION AS A PARENT SEEKING URGENT CARE FOR MY CHILD! TO BE TOLD BEFORE CLOSING WEVE SEEN SO MANY PEOPLE TODAY THAT WE CANT SEE ANYMORE!?!?! THIS WAS WELL BEFORE CLOSING, IM CONFUSED 😕🤔! I would not send my worst enemy here will never come here again! We have to now find another place since all urgent cares seem to close at 8! Thanks Christina Care GO health!
Friendly staff and service was great and quick
Very good care at ExpressCare Urgent Care. They do thorough testing. Very satisfied with the care there. Have been there several times. Highly recommend it.
Was told I had to leave a card in file for whatever my insurance doesnt cover BUT would not take my secondary insurance. Then talked about my information while I was away from the counter and others in the waiting room. I asked to be billed for whatever my insurance didnt cover so I could file with my other insurance, and that was not an option. I also informed them that I could hear their whole conversation from the other side of the room, Im sure others could too.
This place was awful!! The customer service is the worst I’ve seen. My boyfriend works construction and was hurt on the job and was outright bleeding on the floor in the waiting room and they still wouldn’t take him back or do anything to stop the bleeding so there was literally a puddle of blood on the floor by the time they took him back. I highly recommend NOT going here!!!
4 stars because nobody is answering the phones when you really need them too and I didnt see them clean anything like chairs or desks while I was there which is super important right now. Everything else was good.
It used to be a good urgent care now its by appointment only and you get greeted with attitude and poor manors. I wish christiana care did not take it over.
I can tell that Derek really cares about his patients. The wait time was minimal and received kindness as soon as I walked into the door.
Rushed and no bed side manners
I made an appointment and I have been here from 1 hour 30 and I am still in the room waiting to see a Dr I have been in this room for an hour, when the people who took my vitals and what was wrong she said I was next This is crazy to wait this long I will never come back
Got Rapid-tested and everyone was clear and informed and nice! I got there early, and instructions were clear so I could get in and out as quickly as possible.
Told me that my child couldn’t get antibiotics for thrush and now she has a rash over her body
Unbelievable. I was hoping christiana care meant good service. Walk in clinic per website....but we come in and now need an appointment. What a shame the service industry is pitiful.
They won’t see my 15 month old because I haven’t been able to renew my ID…. what’s my ID have to do with him getting medical attention?!
Very friendly staff. Wait time was not long. They helped me with my medical issue very professionally. Thanks again!
I arrived early Saturday morning 6/2. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with the care I received.
Went there with a sinus infection for antibiotics was prescribed a cough suppressant. Tried to call and get a prescription for antibiotics and they would not until I was seen again
PA Kirsten diagnosed my problem, gave me good treatment instructions, and prescribed meds that have helped.
Service is SO SLOW it has never been like this until they got all these new staff members the dr is even slow. If i wanyed to go to unipn and wait i would have ahhhh
It was a pleasant visit. The Doc took care of my issues and I was in and out fairly quickly.
Every time you go to check in online it’s for the next day- but when you get there they ask you if you’ve checked in online…. It’s frustrating especially when you’re sick
The Emergency care was fantastic. Less than 10 minute wait. They all were so helpful. Thank you
Very efficient made my 10 year old with a sprained elbow very comfortable and we were on our way in a short time.
I have been here an hour and a half and still haven’t seen a doctor , it’s freezing cold in the room waiting .. who says this is express? I would be better off going to union hospital .. this is ridiculous
I made my appointment on line, Everything was great. Everybody was friendly and helpful, easy in and easy out.
The people are disorganized and will provide additional tests without asking and charge you for them via a bill in the mail. Avoid if possible.
Go Health? NO Health. No appointments available for 2 days. Why call it urgent care when you need to make appointments?
I had a great experience here. Was in & out pretty fast & all the girls & Shauna the NP were very nice.
Shauna the worst doctor I have ever seen from there will make sure next time when I go in if Im seeing her I will be walking back out if there is no one else to see was one of the worst experience that Ive ever had dont even know why they even allow her to practice shame on them
That doctor was super nice and they even called to check in on me days later. Great people.
Thank you for the treatment I received. I was scared but I was treated n now on the road to recovery. Thank you so much
Great experience! Very efficient and extremely friendly staff.
They treat you like an animal. prices also change depending whos behind the counter
Very professional, great experience, covid ready (mask, 6 ft apart, quick service).
No regard for patient confidentiality, and the front desk staff is very rude and unprofessional. MAJOR HIPAA violations
ExpressCare was friendly, helpful and quick. I hope every medical experience will be like this.
The staff we’re very friendly and helpful. Everything went smoothly, and the place is very clean.
Why does it advertise walk in are welcome to tell you that they have to many online appts they can’t see you. What a waste of time
My family has received prompt and good care there a number of times.
Made a appointment and they took me and my wife right in, we were on our way home in a half hour!
They are the worst went there for a sprained ankle and they gave me a post opt shoe which gives no support to the ankle at all I even called them to redeem themselves and all they could say was thats what the provider wanted you to have
Very strict policy on physicals. Would not fill out paperwork for job related exam. Not a great choice for primary care.
Fast, efficient, professional medical service. Glad I chose to come there. Will use again.
Fast, professional service!
Been here many times, use it as my primary care. Affordable and great service.
Fast service was in and out under a hour.Great place to go for anything non life threatening.
Express Care? You got to be kidding me.. lets start by changing the Name first, there is nothing Express about this place.
Good
Quickly in and out!
I was there for a sinus infection they got me seen quickly and they were very professional
Everyone was very friendly and helpful at the facility. Thank you.
I use this site as a primary medical service provider, love the staff, knowledgable, friendly, superior.
Why do you want credit card on file. Didn’t stay won’t be back
I went to see the doctor, was fast and awesome staff. Thanks again
Very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend! #WhyWaitInTheER
Usually pretty fast and easy to get in and out. Friendly staff
I come here all the time, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
Everyone was so friendly and so kind and also very helpful to me.
Place is filthy dirty! No matter what room we go in its always so filthy!
They are very excellent people there and they get you in and out
Wanted to keep a card on file, told them it wasnt going to happen and walked right out!
The facility was very organized clean efficient and friendly
Great professional Service! Very fast and kind staff.
Super friendly staff even with all the added stress they are under these days.
Very quick and efficient!
Went there on a Monday. The wait was over an hour
Doctor was amazing and staff was great!
Good service, convenient hours , competitive pricing.
Nice staff, my son was seen quickly.
Very clean and friendly! Service was great!
Much better than the one North East.....
Excellent care. Extremely intelligent staff.
Quick service, knowledgeable & friendly staff!
Dont bother going....just go to the emergency room.
Does urgent care do physicals
Waits r too long for express care
In and out fast all the time.
Everyone was very pleasant.
Good check ups in a pinch
I do not recommend.
Will never go back there.
Poor communication and incompetent staff
