Antelope Valley Medical Center OB Clinic

Can you guys please answer the phone!?!? I called multiple times at different times and have left voice mails to hear back to make an appointment for an OBGYN and never got a call back! Its crazy to see that thats still a problem after seeing all the other reviews people have left in the past 7 years.....I had to go in person just to start giving my info to the lady up front so I can get an appointment set up as soon as possible! You guys cant be that busy to answer or try to give a call back because it was not busy at all when I went over today.

I just go to ask about booking an appointment after being discharged from the er and recommended to go there and they were so rude. When I had no idea what was going on. I tried calling business hours no answer. When I physically go they were rude and rushing me when I just wanted help. Then when I call to try to book an appointment they are just yelling and rude saying I cant book their because of my insurance and I didnt know that but understand now but they could have been nicer and less agressive. Worstexperience.

Do Not Recommend!! They never call for reminder appointments. They dont update your charts. They put wrong information in your chart and they are always rescheduling. They dont care about you or baby.

Received all my OB care with this clinic and delivered at the WIP next door. The midwife team is wonderful and they give you lots of choices and information. I love their approach of informing the mother of options and listening to her requests. The OB appointments are quick (if you have no high risk issues). They have limited appointment availability because other practices in the local area have shut down and they have a lot of patients now. The longest I waited for an appointment was 3 weeks (the first appointment) and the longest I waited in the waiting room was an hour (my first appointment). After that it was faster. They have frequent closures (maybe for admin or training?) but their voicemail will tell you what days. They don’t have an email address for people outside the hospital network which was a big issue when I tried to send paperwork. They do have a fax machine though if you’ve got access to one. They never pushed vaccines on me, in fact I had to specially request them. Their OB does push for inductions at 41 weeks so if you don’t want that, be prepared to stand your ground and know the risks you’re comfortable with.

I used this clinic for my pregnancy. From March to October 2023. They were always very nice. The midwives were very respectful and always listened to any concerns. The drs. Also we’re very respectful and took the time to answer any questions I had.

Most of these reviews are so old. I used this OB clinic with my pregnancy 3 years ago and again recently because I was so happy the 1st time around. The office staff were all very helpful and very sweet. The nurses and midwives were great. This most recent pregnancy I didn’t have as much contact with the doctors, but I did my first time around and they were great, too. The office was very nice and very clean. The wait times were usually around 10-15 minutes. I really don’t have any complaints except that I wish I could see them regularly beyond prenatal care!

I call this place the baby factory becuase they dgaf about patient care. They never have appointments and they dont take patient concerns seriously. They hardly let u finish your sentence before they cut you off and leave the room. They spend a uncomfortable amount of time trying to argue why I should get vaccines and shots. One NP even told me my baby would die if it got the flu and that I should be eating boxed cereal instead of potatoes (whole foods) 😳.

I see all these negatives reviews and I really dont understand. I was there for the first time last week and the whole staff was friendly, patient, kind, and professional. The minute I walked in the door and went up to the window to sign in they were patient with me getting my documentation ready (which I should of had ready before I even walked up the window). The wait wasnt long. I was called back the 1st within 15-20 minutes to get the basics from me, like wight, height, blood pressure, etc... then I was told to go back to lobby and wait to be called. I was called again 15-20 minutes later. Was taken to my room and within minutes the nurse was in and not long after her the doctor came in. Dr. Berman was kind and professional and so were the nurses. Regarding the phone, well it is a doctors office. And they do have a lot of patients to attend to, both in office and over the phone. Maybe we should all try to be patient. They are simply doing their job to the best of their ability. And in my opinion they are doing a great one. Like most health care places in the AV, this one is no different when it comes to how much they misinform their patients. When I am asking at a questionnaire appointment “At my first actual appointment is that when I can request nausea medicine?” & they tell me yes, I’M GOING TO DO JUST THAT. But when I do, and get told “No I’m sorry we can only offer over the counter options, at your next appointment we can talk about prescriptions.” I really feel failed as someone who trusted this provider to mean what they tell patients. This isn’t my first rodeo, I am very aware of what works for me and what I need to be able to make it through my days like anyone else. May be my last time with this Dr, I need a team that cares and is aware of my medical history, especially when it comes to pregnancy.

If the front desk hate their job that much they should leave the opening for a care team that actually care for the patients. There is 1 or 2 that are very helpful but other than that you will get the most bland responses with a tone that they clearly hate their job.

I read most these reviews and what a joke! Some people are obviously too sensitive lol Let me say this the entire staff there is very sweet down to earth and personable i love these ladies! And Dr Berman is great hes funny and helpful and i liked his energy he was very helpful and even came to check on me after i had my son!! Dr Ngo delivered my son emergency c section...hes wonderful he was thorough and awnsered my questions who cares if its a quick appointment speak up ask questions and you will get your awnsers! I absolutely love this office wonderfully kind sweet personable people im incredibly honored to have met them and help me thru my journey 2💙

Honestly this is by far the best Dr I’ve seen I expressed my concerns about being very uncomfortable and the majority of the staff were very helpful Dr Gutierrez literally saved my baby’s life I went in for a check up then 45 min later I was getting ready to deliver my baby girl at 36 weeks it is understandable that sometimes medical offices are overwhelmed but also the energy you give is the energy you receive.

Worst hospital to give birth. If you have a normal pregnancy and they arent getting extra money from you, you are not a priority to get in and give birth.

Front desk lady is very rude! She has an attitude and talks back without sense. I don’t know how she’s even working there with her unprofessionalism towards the patience.

I was skeptical of having berman as my doctor because of the awful reviews I read but after actually experiencing for myself what this clinic and dr ngo and dr berman were like I am so grateful I didn’t listen to the reviews, dr berman and ngo are so kind and I feel genuinely love what they do and care for their patients, anytime I had any little concern they would run tests to ease my mind even if it wasn’t necessary. Dr berman delivered my baby and he was the only one in the room besides my family who wasn’t stressing me out and actually really helped me get through the pain of labor. I have nothing negative to say about this clinic and highly recommend it. I’ll be going here next baby as well!

Worst staff I have ever witnessed in a medical facility in my life. The phone lines are never answered and when they are you are placed on ten to twenty minute holds. Waiting area is crammed with pregnant couples who after speaking with them are highly unsatisfied with their prenatal care. I would rather make the drive than place my pregnancy in the hands of this desolate place.

Longest wait times sometimes over 2hours! And definitely overbooked, nowhere to sit. So the doctors rush you in and out which makes you feel like they arent genuinely concerned about the patients.

Supposedly open at 8, but there phones dont work. Keeps going to voicemail. Very frustrating because I just need an appointment. They need to get on the ball and be more professional

Dr. Ngo is great, but Dr Berman is a creep, pervert. I never wanted to let him touch me and he always wanted to assess me. I told him I was Dr Ngo patients and he would smile that creepy perverted smile and i would get the chills. Dr Berman strikes me as a Dr who is in this business to touch women rather then a passion to serve. I have delivered two babies with Dr Ngo and everytime I feel the same about Dr Berman. I am pregnant again and was looking forward to delivering with Dr Ngo again, but the office policy has changed and as a patient you are required to see both Dr Ngo and Creepy ass Dr Berman. I have elected to find another obgyn. I refuse to subject myself to potentiality of being fondled by the creep known as Dr Berman. Ladies Beware and know your rights as a patient.

This place is a joke . visits to this office are like cattle calls. Packing the waiting room full of people for up to an hour every single visit. Never answer the phone when call to schedule, but as we sit here waiting once again as 3 of the office staff cackle and giggle doing nothing. Unprofessional, ghetto, and wish i was not cursed with having to deal with an office that is run by low level poor quality employees.

Very difficult to make an appointment. Ive called 3 days in a row and just get a busy signal. I do like the staff and Dr. Ngo.

Worst medical clinic ever. They have given me eronous lab results, dont know how to read them. Dr Ngou is always on a rush and does not address my health problems and always says aww and looks at me without an answer

They are very unprofessinal and they did not help me with my needs. currentley getting a new doctor .

DO NOT GO HERE . They do not care about there patients at all and will mess you up bad .

This place compare to dr. Samy Farrid is heaven! I love this clinic so much clean everyone is nice!

They hardly ever pick up their phones and if they do they either put you on hold for 10-20mins, put you on hold for 3 mins and hang up, or just hang up.
